Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership and Business Planning
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve sales, profitability, and market share goals.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure alignment of the store’s objectives with the overall company vision and mission.
Operational Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and facility maintenance.
- Optimize supply chain processes to ensure timely availability of hardware and equipment.
- Establish and maintain store policies and procedures for efficient operations.
Team Leadership and Development
- Recruit, train, and manage staff, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and customer service.
- Set clear performance goals, conduct evaluations, and provide coaching to improve team effectiveness.
- Motivate employees to achieve individual and collective targets while maintaining high morale.
Financial Management
- Monitor budgets, manage expenses, and ensure profitability by controlling costs.
- Analyze financial reports, including sales, margins, and expenses, to make data-driven decisions.
- Implement pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to boost sales and customer loyalty.
Customer Relations and Community Engagement
- Ensure a positive customer experience by addressing complaints, resolving issues, and maintaining quality service.
- Build relationships with local businesses, contractors, and key stakeholders to drive sales.
- Promote the store through community involvement and marketing initiatives, enhancing its reputation and visibility.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field.
Optional: Certifications in Retail Management, Supply Chain Management, or Leadership (e.g., Certified Retail Manager, PMP, or similar).
Retail Management Experience: At least 5–7 years of progressive experience in retail or hardware-related industries, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
Industry-Specific Knowledge: Familiarity with hardware, construction equipment, tools, and related products is highly desirable.
Sales and Marketing Experience: Proven track record in sales planning, promotions, and customer relationship management.
Team Management: Experience in recruiting, training, and managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
Operational Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage daily operations, inventory, and supply chains effectively.
